I am a researcher in Ethics and Political Philosophy at Nova University of Lisbon. My research applies economic and evolutionary insights to ethical and political issues, exploring topics such as the sustainability of liberal institutions, natural law, political identity, and moral evolution. I also examine free speech debates in society and academia.
I have lectured widely on Political Theory, Bioethics, and Public Choice Theory. My published work contributes to discussions on the future of liberalism, the adaptive power of markets, ideology, and the ethics of group conflict.
I earned my Doctor of Philosophy in Politics from King’s College London (2016), where I also taught. I hold a master’s degree in PPE from the University of East Anglia (2011) and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Nova University of Lisbon (2010).
I strive to integrate philosophy with scientific principles, aiming to inspire a deeper understanding of the connections between politics, ethics, economics, and the life sciences.
Beyond my academic work, I love playing the piano and guitar, and enjoy singing with my children.
